Trupa Trupa are a band from Gdánsk, Poland. They play a strange yet beautiful mix of psychedelic and post punk. It’s like The Beatles meet Joy Division meet Public Image Ltd meets Sonic Youth. Add a bit of the vibe of Radiohead and you have Trupa Trupa.

Having played Waves Vienna 2017, the band returns to Vienna after a whopping 6 years with two new albums: Of The Sun (2019) and B Flat A (2022). It’s a band that not might strike you immediately as their strength lies in the build-up of moods and atmospheres. Monotonous parts with slight changes in the arrangement but sometimes pack a proper punch. Yet, their melodies, lyrics and song structures are immensely captivating. One of our absolute favourite bands. Trupa has been featured in Line Ups of a number of significant festivals worldwide. including: Primavera Sound, Desert Daze, Rockaway Beach, SXSW, and Iceland Airwaves to name just a few.TT also took part in a legendary NPR Tiny Desk Session and BBC Radio 6 music session (with Iggy Pop as one of their diehard fans).
