Salute Presents Home²
Salute presents Home² w/ Karma Kid + MPH. The 25-year-old Austrian producer has created a dynamic back catalogue, moving through RnB, dubstep, dance, hip-hop, even jazz and gospel.
The release of the ‘CONDITION’ trilogy saw salute move closer towards chopped up electronics and garage-style samples. His most recent cuts ‘Jennifer’ and ‘Want U There’provided a slice of euphoric dance music despite nightclubs having their doors firmly closed. Garnering acclaim from Mixmag, DJ Mag, Notion and more, salute finally played the singles live at his Vienna Boiler Room and Lost Village, both sets attracting massive high-energy crowds, with upcoming shows at The Warehouse Project, Parklife and fabric. He returns with the aptly titled ‘Joy’, released through Atlantic Record’s new imprint, SIGNAL >> SUPPLY, celebrating the best of UK underground dance music. With support from DJ Seinfeld, India Jordan, DJ Boring and Mall Grab, it’sa nother thumping house track that welcomes back the dancefloor with open arms: “I wanted it to be the ultimate display of over-the-top happiness,” he says. As he returns to the live circuit, it’s clear that salute is moving from strength to strength in his trademark colourful UKG and house blend.
